Sourcing & Handling Excellence at Kerrigan Valley Beef

At Kerrigan Valley Beef, we source 4,000–5,000 premium cattle annually, primarily Angus from Esperance and the South West region of Western Australia, with select Santa Gertrudis cattle purchased from the Pilbara. Our carefully chosen cattle enter the feedlot at 300–400kg, ensuring optimal growth and finishing.

When paddock feed is available, we also acquire smaller cattle for backgrounding, maximising efficiency and quality.

We have built strong, trusted relationships with respected agents and buyers, allowing us to work closely with cow/calf producers to secure top-tier livestock.

Every animal undergoes a strict induction protocol, including:

✔ Vitamin & mineral supplements
✔ Oral drenching program

We prioritise low-stress stock handling techniques, ensuring cattle remain calm, comfortable, and well-adjusted to their new environment.

As an NFAS-accredited feedlot, we uphold the highest industry standards. All cattle are equipped with NLIS tags for lifetime traceability, guaranteeing full transparency and accountability.
