The Story of Kerrigan Valley Beef: A True Western Australian Legacy
Nestled in the heart of Western Australia’s Hyden district, home to the iconic Wave Rock, Kerrigan Valley Beef carries a proud legacy of dedication, innovation, and quality.
Our story began in 1926, when the pioneering Munday family settled on this land and planted their first crop in 1928. In 1965, John and Lorna Hinck purchased the property, shifting its focus to sheep and grain production. Their son, Trevor Hinck, joined the family business in 1977, working alongside his parents to develop the property into the thriving grain-fed beef operation it is today.
Now owned and operated by Trevor and Sharon Hinck, Kerrigan Valley Beef is a true family-run enterprise, with their three sons—Craig, Kingsley, and Jordan—actively involved in the day-to-day operations.
